It is better to fall on the cornerstone & be broken to pieces than the cornerstone fall on you & grind you to dust.

Jesus Christ was quite direct & explicit in Matthew 21 when he was speaking to the Pharisees & Sadducees of the day.
He was describing exactly how they were receiving him , the prideful rejection of Jesus as the Son of God.
Even the lack of understanding of King David’s Psalm 1044 years earlier as a prophecy was quite telling.
” The stone [which] the builders refused is become the head [stone] of the corner. [Psalm 118:22 KJV]
Jesus warned the Pharisees & Sadducees of the day , what the consequences would be.
This translates to today & how caught up we are in our own worldly perspectives & idolatry.
Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes? [Mat 21:42 KJV]
Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof. [Mat 21:43 KJV]
Speaking again to the Pharisees’ & Sadducees of that time, Jesus warned them of their impending loss , bringing the “fruits of Christ” to a nation who was ready to receive of him.
And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder. [Matthew 21:44 KJV]
The amazing thing that Jesus states, is “whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken”
When you are ultimately brought low & into despair , you fall at the feet of Jesus ๐โฅ๏ธ
There is brokenness & a state of despair, but only when you “open” to Christ Jesus in belief will you taste of the “Living Water” of Jesus Christ.
The Coming judgement of Jesus Christ ,for those who do not know him, “will grind him to powder”
It is better to be allowed to be broken, become opened & healed by Jesus Christ than to be ground as a powder & blown away by the wind.
